Graduation/Completion Rates by First-Time Full-Time Freshmen

Description:

Most students enroll at CSU to earn a degree and most of them seek bachelor’s degrees. This is why CSU’s most important indicator of success is the graduation/completion rate of its bachelor’s degree seeking students. The graduation rate is the proportion of undergraduate students who enter as first-time, full-time, degree-seeking students in a given summer or fall who earn a degree within six years. CSU utilizes data from the National Student Clearinghouse as its primary resource to determine whether completion targets are met. This measure captures students who begin at CSU and transfer out, which is a more realistic measure of success because of the percentage of students who transfer out.

CSU Goal:

60% graduation rate
